For some areas, there might be just one bygdebok, while other areas may have a dozen.
To facilitate finding a farm, indexes have been created of the farms in the bygdebøker covering a specific parish. The lag has created some of these indexes; some were made by others. Some indexes are still ‘works-in-progress’. In either case, corrections and suggestions are gladly welcomed!
When there is a date listed that indicates that the index is for a release of the Bygdebok from that year. There may be more recent releases of the Bygdebok not covered by the index.
